Glossy Recycled Paper Necklace - Afrika Pamoja
This novel, beautiful, recycled paper bead necklace is made from beads of glossy paper from old calendars and brochures, with glass seed beads interspersed. Varnished to a high-gloss, each paper bead looks like a polished stone or wood. Paper is cut in long triangles and rolled to form the beads - wide, short strips for narrow beads and long, thin strips for fat beads. Sold individually. Plastic screw closure. Average length is approximately 22 inches.Colors will vary, please allow us to choose.
Meet the Artisans
Working with more than 100 individual carvers in Machakos, Kenya,Jedando Modern Handicrafts markets african handicrafts primarily made of wood and bone worldwide. Carving is a tradition in Kenya with the children learning the craft from their parents. Carved by hand using only rudimentary hand tools, olive wood bowls, salad serving sets, and animal-shaped napkin rings take shape from pieces of olive wood, mahogany, and mpingo, or "African Ebony".

Our policy lasts 30 days. Within 30 days of purchase you can return your goods, no questions asked. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
