Brass Images

Brass Images has been producing high quality, handcrafted products since 1988. Our products are handcrafted by the artisans from the Plettenberg Bay community in South Africa.

Our jewelry is made from the highest grade of responsibly sourced copper and brass.

We have a stunning silver range of jewelry. For a top quality silver finish, we silver plate our products to a great quality thickness. We then put them through a patina process to bring out their deep, rich silver colour.

Copper has been known throughout history to bring about healing effects on the body. Gemstones have also been known to increase a person's energetic vibration and bring about positive effects within a person. The combination of metals and gemstones makes our jewelry not only beautiful, but positively healing too.

As all our products are handmade, there will be no two products identical, making yours a one and only in all the world.

All our jewelry is made as a "one size fits all" variable size, adjustable for maximum comfort.

All our artisans are people native to South Africa, who have been previously disadvantaged through the political history of the country. The vast majority of the population still struggles economically, and their rise to be financially secure and stable is a slow process. We work with artisans from a small coastal town where the employment rate is very low. They are empowered with a sustainable source of income through the sales and marketing of their handcrafted products, thus reducing the community's poverty. The artisans' employment supports a wider network of people who directly rely on this source of income from the artisans.

Their greatest reward is to have their products desired and shared. Their work has found international appreciation where we currently export world wide.

Enjoy the products that are so beautifully created with positivity and happiness by the inspired and aspiring artisans of South Africa.
